How to Customize Your Dragon in WoW Dragonflight

You know that special place you go when your character needs a fresh shave or new skin tone? The uh, barbershop? Well, there’s one of those for Dragons as well (sort of). They’re called Rostrums of Transformation, and they can be found all over the Dragon Isles. The easiest one to access is in the capital city of Valdrakken, and it’s marked with a special mini map waypoint.

Park your lumbering hulk on the pedestal and give it a click to open a brand new customization menu.

How to Get More Dragon Cosmetics

If you want more cosmetics than the ones featured at the start – good news! There’s a whole slew of ways to make that flying slab of meat shine. Dragon cosmetics are unlocked through consumables known as Drakewatcher Manuscripts, which are account-wide unlocks. Here’s a few ways to get more.

Rare Spawns: Sometimes Rares (silver-border enemies) can drop Drakewatcher Manuscripts. If you’re after a particular one, check the loot tables using an AddOn such as RareScanner, then get to farming!

Dungeons and Raids: Some bosses also have a chance to drop Drakewatcher Manuscripts. The ones dropping from the final boss in a Dragonflight Raid are full transformations, which override the entire look of your Dragon.

Renown: Leveling Renown with each of Dragonflight’s factions allows the opportunity to purchase several Drakewatcher Manuscripts at certain levels. Each race has their own Dragon for which they sell Manuscripts – so be sure to check their inventories for ones you want.

These are just a few ways to get even more colors, hairstyles, and various ways to stick spikes to your Dragon. Rest assured, if you spend enough time playing, you’ll be stumbling across more all the time. Who knows? You might even find a new favorite by accident!
