Cure the Burn Effect in Black Myth Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong players can cure burn with two methods: dodging and consuming a Body-Cooling Powder item. Burning is only a temporary effect that will eventually shake off, but it can cause a good amount of damage if not tended to quickly.

Dodging is one of the core moves in the game and can be done by pressing the Space bar, Circle, or B buttons. Quickly rolling after being burned will extinguish the flame and stop any further damage taken.

The other option is to consume a Body-Cooling Powder, which will instantly remove the burning status and any further damage. It will also increase resistance to burning for a short period of time afterward. The medicine is perfect when fighting a boss-type enemy that exclusively uses fire attacks, so you can continue to fight through without having to roll after every burning attack.

The Body-Cooling Powder can be equipped to your on-hand items, so it can be used during battle without having to pause the game to view your inventory. Your equipped on-hand items can be brought up by pressing Q, R2, or RT buttons.

Body-Cooling Powder can be found in random chests, drops from enemies, or purchased from shrines where players can rest and fast travel from. Players will be able to craft the item after completing the Xu Dog quest in Chapter 2, then crafting it with one Fragrant Jade Flower and one Jade Lotus.
