Enshrouded Magic Chest

The Magic Chest will allow you to store items within it and then use them to craft, so you no longer need to carry around every item that you need to make something at your base.

This is a great feature and something that comes standard in other survival crafting games like Palworld.

How to Unlock the Magic Chest in Enshrouded

You’ll need to progress a little bit through the main story until you encounter a mission that requires you to find a mission that requests you to visit an Ancient Vault to unlock the Carpenter. This area has plenty of powerful enemies surrounding it, normally within the Level 7 to 10 range, so you’ll need to make sure that you’ve created plenty of powerful weapons and upgraded your Flame Altar to ensure your survival.

After saving the Alchemist, they’ll eventually cough over the information needed to find and release the Carpenter from their Ancient Vault. Head this way and defeat the enemies surrounding their location to free them. Speak to the Carpenter and recruit them onto your team, allowing you to craft the Magic Chest.

How To Craft a Magic Chest in Enshrouded

Once you have recruited the Carpenter, you can start crafting the Magic Chest. This item does require a few items, including the following:

  • 1 Small Chest
    • 6 Nails
    • 6 Wood Logs
  • 1 Shroud Core

Set the carpenter to work, and you’ll soon have a Small Magic Chest that will allow you to use your items directly from it rather than running back and forth to see what is all inside. This makes creating new items at your base camp much more fluid and easy, so get ready to set out on an adventure to get the Carpenter as soon as possible.
