Arrive in Canalbrine, the beautiful city by the sea, and you’ll soon see a youth bemoaning his late companion on the terrace of the nearby inn. Chance the time to night, and you’ll see that another youth is complaining about their friend being late, too.

It seems that these two goons have had a miscommunication about the time they should have met. Fortunately, we can resolve this easily enough. Using either Temenos or Agnea, Guide or Allure one of the complaining youths.

To successfully Guide with Temenos, you’ll need to be at a high enough level. To Allure with Agnea, you’ll have to pass a chance-based check. Once you have one of the friends in tow, change the time to night. The other friend will be waiting, and you can speak to them.

Once you do, you’ll get a cut scene. The two brothers will be reunited, and they’ll realize how silly they were for getting their times wrong. They’ll then thank you for realizing and resolving their blunder. And for your trouble, you’ll get 3,000 leaves, 1 Magic Nut, and 1 Empowering Lychee.

Not a bad haul! Nuts are always useful. And if you talk to them after, they’re still affectionately griping about each other. That’s true friendship.
