No Reservations Challenge Guide in BitLife
Below are the five tasks you will have to finish for the No Reservations challenge in BitLife:
- Be born a male in New York
- Overcome an addiction
- Write a best-selling book
- Become a famous chef
- Travel to 10+ different countries
How to Be Born a Male in New York in BitLife
To begin this challenge, you’ll have to create a new male character born in New York! To do this, pick male as your starting gender, the United States as your starting country and New York as your place. While this part can be challenging for other states, you’ll find New York right on the list with no issues!
Developing and Overcoming an Addiction
Once you create your character, age them up until they turn 18. From here, my go-to strategy for developing addictions is to go to nightclubs and accept any offers for consuming alcohol. However, you can also gamble at the casino or wait for a random encounter to appear with someone asking you to consume drugs.

After some time, if you use the nightclubbing strategy, your character may gain an alcohol addiction, leading to him attending rehab or AA. If you have a drug or gambling addiction, you can still participate in rehab to recover. Either way, overcome this addiction and move on to the next part of the challenge!
Becoming a Famous Chef and Writing Best-selling Books in BitLife
To become a chef in BitLife, attend community college before looking in the full-time jobs list. Look for careers like Dishwasher, Busser or Host at a restaurant. Being a chef requires three years of work experience, so you’ll want to stick to one of these jobs before moving on to the Apprentice Chef role. Apply for the job and pass the interview to become a chef!

From here, continue working hard and aging until your character becomes famous! Once this happens, you’ll gain access to the Fame tab under Activities, where you can write books, attend talk shows and appear in photo shoots for extra money! In particular, you’ll want to write books until one becomes a bestseller. Do this to knock out both tasks!

Travelling to Different Countries
After becoming a famous chef, you’ll naturally gain fame and fortune over time. When I first attempted this challenge, I thought you had to vacation to ten different countries. However, after doing this, I realized that you must emigrate to these locations instead.
With that said, head into Activities > Emigrate and pick any country before requesting approval to move. If you’re accepted, you can go there without issues. Otherwise, you can either enter anyway or choose another country. Do this ten times to different countries to finish the final task of the No Reservations BitLife challenge!
