A new BitLife weekend challenge, the Human Trombone challenge, is live starting February 18, 2023! While Pokemon inspired last week’s challenge, this one asks you to become a unique street performer. How to Complete the Human Trombone Challenge in BitLife
Below are the five tasks you have to complete for the Human Trombone Challenge in BitLife:
- Become a street performer
- Wear chaps
- Earn $500,000+ as a street performer
- Have a flatulist skill level of 100%
- Own a rusty trombone
Becoming a Street Performer and Wearing Chaps
Before attempting this challenge, make sure you own the Street Hustler career pack. Without this, you are unable to become a street performer! You can buy the individual pack for $3.99 or Boss Mode for $13.99, allowing you to get all current and future special careers. To purchase the pack, head into the BitLife main menu and scroll down until you see Job Packs.

Now that you have the Street Hustler career pack, it is time to go onto the streets! You just have to go into the Street Hustler job, pick a street and choose street performer as your hustle. Once you do this, you can select your act, attire and collection box. Choose Flatulist as your act and Chaps as your attire. It does not matter what your collection box is. By doing this, you will immediately knock out the first two tasks!
Earning Money as a Flatulist in BitLife
As you age and continue performing the hustle, you will naturally make money each year. To speed up the process, you can head into the job tab, pick People and target specific people on the streets to raise your money actively. You will also increase your flatulist skill level as you successfully hustle, while failed attempts decrease it.
Once you reach 100%, you can also attempt other street performer acts to make money in different ways! Just make sure you stick to the street performer hustle rather than switching to panhandling or scamming. Generally speaking, this part requires you to keep at it until you make over $500,000.
Getting a Rusty Trombone
Buying a rusty trombone requires a bit of luck. To do this, head into activities, pick shopping and go into the musical instrument store. From here, you will find a list of random instruments to buy. You are looking for a trombone with a “Rusty” finish, which appears next to its name. If you do not see it right away, close and reopen the BitLife app or age up and recheck the shop. The trombone usually costs around $1000 to 2000, which is not the most expensive item in the game, but you will still want to make sure you can afford it!
Once you buy your rusty trombone and perfect your street-performing skills, you will complete the Human Trombone Challenge in BitLife!
