How to Complete the Heavyweight Champion Penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide

The biggest boy's skills will be put to the test.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide Ogryn

Warhammer 40K: Darktide makes sure that if you want to go for every penance, you earn each one. There are easier penances for sure, but many require specific conditions, team compositions, and loadouts. On the bright side, this brings a lot more variety to the game and makes you think about each mission you partake in. One such penance for the Ogryn is bringing players some difficulty. Here’s how to complete the Heavyweight Champion penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

As per the in-game description, this penance asks you to hit six different Ogryn-level enemies with a single Bull Rush on difficulty four, Heresy, or higher. Ogryn-level enemies include the Reaper, Crusher, Bulwark, and Plague Ogryn. To see six different enemies of these types is difficult enough, but getting them close enough for you to Bull Rush all of them is even more challenging.

Before attempting this challenge, you’ll need level 30 on your Ogryn. This is because the challenge is next to impossible if you don’t have the level 30 feat Unstoppable, a feat that doubles Bull Rush distance and makes it uninterruptible (except against monstrosities). You could do it without it, but you’d need the enemies to be directly next to each other which would be some extreme luck. It’ll also help to have the Battle Maul and Slab Shield weapon, as its special action will let you group enemies into one spot for a higher chance of completion.

Beyond this, you’re going to need to play with the Special Condition ‘Endless Horde’ active. This increases enemy spawn rates, including with Elites, which will help a ton with getting enough Ogryn-level enemies. This is going to make the challenge incredibly difficult to get a window for, let alone pull off. As such, we suggest having as refined of a loadout as possible along with teammates you can communicate with. You don’t want them to kill the Ogryn-level enemies, after all.

With some serious perseverance and planning, this challenge can be pulled off. Don’t expect to get out easy, though, even with your hulking size and stagger power.
