How to Finish Abandoned Republic Factory in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – Walkthrough

Welp! Our favorite group of B-based bandits hasn’t gone far. They’re inside the Abandoned Factory, and if you get within half a mile of it you can hear them chattering away. Go to the north side of the factory to find an open door.

Walk inside, and they’ll be shocked to see you. But don’t worry, they still have plenty of tricks up their sleeve. They’ll throw a diversion at you and ask you to guess which of them has the protorelic. If you look closely, you can see a bit of purple mist periodically rising from around Burke’s waist. Select him, and it will turn out you are right.

But you don’t get anything for guessing the answer right. The boys will then take flight, leaving you to tangle with four generic bandits. These bandits are all weak to Fire. And if you see them setting up a trap, attack them, as it will stagger them instantly.

Once the bandits are defeated, Chadley will call you full of disappointment, but it turns out this was all part of the plan. Our goal is to find the bandit hideout, and now we’re one step closer. We just need to find the key.

Jump on Piko the Chocobo and head outside. Hold down the up button on your D-Pad to summon a gold line. The gold line will extend from the warehouse and up the hill toward the east. Once you reach the end of the golden line, press down on the D-Pad to have your Chocobo dig up the treasure.

You’ll find Beck’s Hideout Key, and the next location of the Protorelic quest line will be added to your map. That’s our last stop, and you just need to head to the east fast travel point of Kalm to find the path that will take you up to it.

But before you leave, now’s a great time to knock out the Flowers from the Hill side quest for Chloe. The flower field is pretty close by!
