How to Change the Wuthering Waves Launcher Language

I can finally read!

Wuthering Waves is easily one of the biggest PC and mobile releases of the year with over 30 million pre-registrations on both platforms. The PC version uses a launcher similar to what we have seen in miHoYo titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, and it comes with its own set of issues. If the Wuthering Waves launcher’s language has defaulted to something else upon installation, here is how you can change it.

Switch Wuthering Waves Launcher Language

To change the language of the Wuthering Waves launcher, you need to click on the settings gear icon and adjust the first option with the dropdown.

Here are the detailed steps:

  • Run the launcher, and select the gear icon in the top right
  • Now, the first option in this new window has a dropdown next to it.
  • Click the dropdown and select the language you want to choose as shown below.
  • Select the bottom right option (Confirm) in the new window, and then select the right-most option again (Yes)
  • This will restart the launcher, and your chosen language will be applied to the launcher

That’s all you need to do to change the launcher’s interface language.

If the language is defaulting to something else, the system language (Windows) may be set to a non-English language. Either way, it’s not that difficult to change the language, because it’s thankfully the first option when you open settings. While the launcher could be in a better state, so far, we haven’t run into any major issues as of yet.

If you’re preparing for the launch of the title, here is everything you need to know about Wuthering Waves including game mechanics, systems, release schedule, and combat details. If you can’t decide which server you should choose, we have you covered with the details of each.
