Having a good level of customization is always welcoming for any game, and Palworld does this very well by letting players fully customize how they want to play their survival adventure. Here’s how you can change your default controls in Palworld.

How to Change Commands in Palworld

All commands are customizable in Palworld, and if you feel like changing something, open the menu with Esc (or Start in controllers) and head to the Options tab, then pick Options (the second one right below “Return to game”) and finally, select “Controls”. All commands for both Keyboard and controller will appear, letting you fully customize them.

To do so, select the command you wish to change and press the new key/button you want to assign that action to. You’ll need to fully restart your game for any changes to be effective, so be aware of that if you’re a host in a Multiplayer session as this means closing the server temporarily.

You can always reset everything to the default options if you feel like you messed up something. It just takes you a few seconds to reopen your game, but it’s worth it if you feel like the default commands for throwing Spheres and sending Pals out should be reversed, just like I felt.
