Beds are one of the first items that players will need to build in LEGO Fortnite. This piece of furniture is absolutely required for players who are looking to grow their village, since villagers need a bed to call their own.

How to Build Beds in LEGO Fortnite

A bed can be built in LEGO Fortnite by opening the Build menu, going to the Furniture tab, and then picking any of the pieces under the Beds category. This will already be unlocked in Sandbox mode, though players will unlock the ability to create beds shortly after building a shelter in Survival mode.

There are plenty of options when it comes to the kind of bed players can build, but the starter bed will cost 10 Wood to build one. Others can require fewer basic resources, but most will require some type of wood.

Beds can be assigned to NPC villagers and real players alike by interacting with the bed, and then selecting the name of the person you would like to have that bed. The game will give you a list of all currently available villagers and players, regardless of whether they already have a bed or not.

NPC villagers must have a bed to move into your village. Real players will also require beds to continue playing in a shared world.

What Can Beds Do in LEGO Fortnite?

The main purpose of beds in LEGO Fortnite is to assign NPCs and real players to a specific village. The bed will act as a respawn point when they die in combat.

Players can also lay down on the beds to heal their health completely, and there is no cost or additional resources required for this feature. However, beds do not skip through time like in other games. Players who want to skip the night portions completely will have to wait it out until morning like normally.
