Becoming a pilot is a unique process, though, with lengthy and rather expensive steps. If you want to learn more, continue reading to discover how to become a pilot in BitLife.
How to Become a Pilot in BitLife
There are three main parts to becoming a pilot in BitLife:
- Graduating university
- Going to flight school and getting your pilot’s license
- Finding the job!
Graduating University
The first part of becoming a pilot in BitLife is going to university! High smarts will raise your odds of getting a scholarship, but if you don’t get one, part-time job earnings will help you pay for your loan. If you picked a country with free post-secondary education, don’t worry about this part.
If you want a safe program option, I went for an engineering degree and got the job after reaching the other requirements. Enter university and finish your four-year degree to move on to the next step!

The next step is to go to flight school! Once your character turns 18, head into Activities, scroll down to Licenses and take 40 hours of flight school lessons. Be prepared to pay several thousand dollars out of pocket to finish this.
Once you complete 40 hours of flight school, it’s time to take your pilot test! There are multiple possible questions involving real-world information about planes, aircraft signaling and other important details. Oh yeah, and you’ll have to pay another $1,000 or so for each attempt. Pass the test to get your pilot’s license!
If you’re familiar with this, you can answer the questions using your knowledge. Otherwise, you can guess or use our BitLife Pilot Test Answers Guide for a complete list of each question and solution.
Finding the Pilot Career
Once you have your pilot’s license and university degree, it’s time to go job hunting. Head into the full-time job list and scroll through until you find “Pilot Trainee“. It’ll appear with an “Airline” tag and a plane emoji beside the name. If you can’t find it right away, you can age up and recheck the list or close and reopen the BitLife app.
