How to Become a Crab Fisherman in BitLife

Since the crab fisherman position is a full-time career, you’ll have to age up your character until they turn 18. As a teenager, they can only work freelance and part-time jobs. While many jobs require you to attend university or community college, the crab fisherman career isn’t one of them. You just have to age your character, head into Occupation and select jobs. From here, search for the Greenhorn career.

Rather than looking for a “Crab Fisherman” position, your goal is to find the Greenhorn career. This is the first level of the Crab Fishermen career path and is the beginning step for someone who has never worked in this role.. It’ll appear in the jobs list with a red crab emoji next to the name, followed by the “Fishery” tag. If you don’t see it right away, close and re-open the BitLife app or age up and recheck the page until you find it. You may find other related jobs in the list, such as Deckhand and Captain, but these require previous work experience.

Once you find the Greenhorn job, apply for the position and pass the interview to become a crab fisherman in BitLife! While this is all you need to complete the Deadliest Catch Challenge, you’re more than welcome to work hard and climb the ranks to Captain.
