How to Become a CEO or VIP in GTA Online

Earning money is no small part of GTA Online. And being a CEO lets you tackle VIP work and bribe your way out of sticky situations.

First, you’ll need a business. More specifically, an executive office. This requires at least $1,000,000. Here are the types of offices you can buy:

  • Maze Bank West – $1,000,000
  • Arcadius Business Center – $2,250,000
  • Lombank West – $3,100,000
  • Maze Bank Tower – $4,000,000

Once you have an office, becoming a CEO is easy. Here’s what you need to do.

  • Open the Interaction Menu.
  • Select SecuroSERV.
  • Then, select Register as CEO.

It’s as easy as that. However, the controls are different depending on what platform you’re using. To open the Interaction Menu on a PlayStation, hold the touchpad. If you’re on Xbox, press the view button. If you’re on PC, hold the M key.

Once you’re CEO, you can hire associates, have your assistant bring you snacks, tackle free mode missions like headhunter to get a nice cash reward, and buy garages that can store up to 60 cars. Nice!

Compared to becoming a CEO, becoming a VIP is much, much easier. All you need is $50,000. Once you have $50,000, the process is almost identical to becoming a CEO.

  • Open the Interaction Menu.
  • Select SecuroSERV.
    • If you haven’t bought an executive office yet, SecuroServ might be ‘VIP’ instead.
  • Then, select Register as VIP.

Once you’re a VIP, you’ll have access to some exclusive missions like Sightseer, Most Wanted, and Hostile Takeover. It won’t net you as much money as those CEO missions, but they’ll still get you a hefty chunk of cash. Sightseer, for example, will net you $20,000.
