How to Add Friends in Overwatch 2

If you’re looking to add friends in Overwatch 2, all you need to do is click on the social tab, which can be found in the main menu or on the top right corner of the screen. A little person icon depicts this.

Click on this to open the social tab and see your friends list. On the right-hand side, you will see an orange box with the words “Add Friend.”

Choose this option, and you’ll be prompted to add your friend’s Battl.net account name. This is a username with the addition of four numbers at the end. You’ll need this to add your friends to Overwatch 2. Now that the game uses crossplay, everything is unified under the Battle.net username feature.

Once you’ve added them, they will appear on your friend list, and you can invite them to your group to squad up and play together if you choose.
