Before accessing your inventory, you’ll have to progress past the tutorial and make your way to the Hogwarts School of Wizardry. Depending on whether you’re skipping cutscenes or exploring the surrounding scenery, it’ll take about 30-60 minutes before you get to this point.

Upon arriving at Hogwarts, you’ll participate in the Sorting Ceremony, where you choose your house. Following this, you’ll appear in your dorm room, where you can explore the Common Rooms, socialize with fellow classmates, and, shortly after, speak to Professor Weasley. Professor Weasley will introduce you to the Field Guide, the key to unlocking nearly everything you’ll need to progress through the rest of the game.

After entering your Field Guide, you’ll find various options, including collection, challenges and inventory. Select inventory from this menu to access your list of resources, quest items and other materials you collect throughout your travels. Similarly, you can go into Gear to find upgrades and cosmetics you’ve unlocked for your equipment, which you can equip and unequip to your heart’s content.
