When you have stolen goods in your inventory, a small red hand will appear on the item to indicate that it’s stolen. You’ll need to be careful when walking around with stolen items or trying to sell stolen goods to merchants. Certain NPCs can punish you for carrying or attempting to sell stolen items, so try not to get caught red-handed.

Sell Stolen Goods to a Fencer/Miller

One way you can sell stolen goods in Kingdom Come: Deliverance is by exchanging them to a fencer, who will “store” your stolen items for you in exchange for money. To gain access to fencers, you must first complete the side quest titled A Good Thief. This is the same quest where you must find a spade in Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

This side quest will require you to follow through on a series of tasks for Miller Peshek in Rattay. You’ll need to steal a ring from an Executioner and bring the ring to another miller named Woyzeck. It turns out millers are the main merchants of underground trade in Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Once you’ve completed A Good Thief, you’ll be able to sell stolen goods to either Miller Peshek or Miller Woyzeck for some coin. They both sell lockpicks and offer thievery lessons in lockpicking  and pickpocketing as well, so be sure to return to your friendly neighborhood miller for all your pilfering needs.

Sell Stolen Goods in a Different Town

Another way to sell stolen goods in Kingdom Come: Deliverance without getting caught is by selling lifted items in a different village. Remember the red hand icon? This can tell you where you stole the item from. As long as you don’t try to sell stolen items in the same village you got them from, you should have much better chances of selling stolen goods without getting caught.

So, next time you go on a thieving spree in a single village, be sure to travel to the next town over to sell your stolen goods without tarnishing your reputation. This is a great way to indirectly launder your stolen items without having to visit the millers every time.

Now that you know how to sell stolen goods without getting caught in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you should be well on your way to earning money fast and improving your lockpicking skills. For more tips and tutorials, head over to our Kingdom Come: Deliverance game hub.
