After you’re done with the initial tutorials, you can start setting up your own Estate Cairns in Nightingale, which will mark your home point. But how many of these can you have simultaneously in a single game?

What Is the Estate Cairn Limit in Nightingale?

A player can only have a single Estate Cairn built for each character. They can only be built on Abeyance Realms. You can teleport to your Estate for free from whichever place you are on the map, and you automatically return to it whenever you die. Building a new Cairn will immediately break down the previous one, setting this new construction as the new spawning point.

The Estate limit is effective for each character and not Realm. So even if you travel to a new Abeyance Realm without an Estate Cairn, building another one here will immediately break your previous spawning point. This could lead you to lose your easy access to a previous Realm, so be very careful when rebuilding your Estate.

Dying in a Realm without an Estate will lead you to respawn in the nearest Faerie Ring available instead. This means literally Realm that are Abeyances, so be extra careful when adventuring through these.

The only exception for the “single Estate Cairn” rule is during multiplayer. Each player can have their own Estate Cairn, and all players currently in the same session can use it as a teleport point. But if they won’t make their own Estate, they still respawn on Faerie Rings if they end up dying.

So be extra careful when going outside of your comfort zone, which is something unavoidable for gathering better resources and better equipment around the Realm. Make sure to be well-equipped and prepared with enough ammo, or you might end up returning to your Estate Cairn earlier than expected.
