How Many Call of Duty Games Are There? Full Game List and Release Timeline

Duty has called many times.

For a series as long-running as Call of Duty, keeping track of the number of games can be tricky, especially when spin-off games enter the fray. We have below a list and timeline of all Call of Duty games.

How Many Call of Duty Games are There?

As of November 2023, there are 20 mainline Call of Duty games, not counting expansion packs such as Call of Duty: United Offensive and remastered ports such as Call of Duty: Classic.

There have also been a slew of mobile and spin-off games, including some that have since been shut down. When counting all of the series’s spin-offs, but not companion games, there have been 32 total Call of Duty titles as of November 2023. Counting companion games, which have different storylines from their primary games, brings the total up to 39, while remasters bump the total up to 42.
