You will need 15 bookshelves to make level 30 enchantments. Make sure the bookshelves are one space away from the table. You can stack bookshelves on top of each other to ensure you are able to craft level 30 enchantments.

Put six bookshelves on the left, six on the right, and three behind the table to create the level 30 enchantment table.

If you don’t know how to craft a bookshelf, here is the recipe:

  • Six Jungle Planks
  • Three Books

At the crafting table, put three planks across the first row, then three books in the middle row, and then the other three planks on the bottom row. This will create a bookshelf.

This will only create one bookshelf, so you will need to do this 15 times to have enough shelves for your enchantment table. After that though, you’ll be able to make level 30 enchantments with ease.

After this, you’ll be crafting enchantments that will have mobs running away from you in fear. You’ll be the talk of the nearby village, and you’ll even be able to dive deeper into dungeons without having to worry about those pesky spiders.
