The main story for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will take you around 20 hours to beat, and you can easily go over 30 hours for a completionist run. There are a handful of fully fleshed-out zones that you need to traverse in the main story and you even need to backtrack from corner to corner in the final act of the game.

In my playthrough of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, I reached 25 hours before rolling credits and that was nowhere near a 100% run. According to my game stats, I was done with 60% of the map. The total percentage accounts for any of the main story, side quest progress, or collectibles that you pick up around the map.

For those of you who want to earn 100% completion, you are looking at around 30 hours to explore everything and complete every puzzle. Even though some reports might indicate that you can reach 100% in 25 hours, that wasn’t our experience here. Many players will hit 40 hours with no problems trying to collect every item.

Keep in mind that you can always go back to reach 100% completion after you beat the main story. Sargon will be brought to the Fast Travel point directly before the final fight and you can simply head back through the rest of the map. However, there is no new game plus in the game, so these final puzzles are it on your save.

If you’re early into the adventure, make sure you know how to Fast Travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
