In Disney Dreamlight Valley, after meeting Gaston and giving him some food, you’ll have to work with the confident villain to collect the Glittering Dunes Jewel of Time after some brief reflection. Let’s talk about how long it takes for Gaston to re-center himself during the Wild Tangle’s Swarm quest.

How Long Does Gaston Re-Center Himself in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

You’ll have to spend two hours waiting for Gaston to contemplate life and re-center himself during The Wild Tangle’s Swarm quest. During these two hours, he’ll wander around Eternity Isle, socialize with the other villagers, and ready himself mentally to take on the rest of the quest before returning to his camp in the Glittering Dunes.

There is no way to speed up this part of Wild Tangle’s Swarm. Gaston needs the entire two hours to do whatever he does in his free time, meaning you’ll have to spend this time doing other things. This could mean growing some crops, progressing through other quests, or taking a break from the game before returning and checking up on him.

Personally, I just grew some vegetables before learning how to play Scramblecoin.

Once two hours pass and he returns here, you’ll find a new quest objective to check on Gaston, allowing you to progress through the rest of the mission. Things will proceed as usual, with you engaging in dialogue with Gaston, taking a trip to the Wild Tangle again, and getting help from Rapunzel on your current task to move one step closer to getting the Jewels of Time for Jafar.
