How To Get Exotic Weapons In Dauntless

While the Exotic Weapons are very much the pinnacle of combat in Dauntless, there are currently only three available to you. Unfortunately, this means that some weapon classes are left out, but this should be addressed at some point by the devs. For the time being, you need to know how to get the ones available. The first thing you need to do is find the blueprint for the weapon, which you can get by defeating specific Behemoths while in Heroic Hunts or Patrols. These come after you’ve been playing the game for a fair while, so don’t worry about it initially. The blueprints are also dropped randomly, and with a low chance, which means you can expect to have to do some grinding. Here are the three weapons and how to get them:

  • The Hunger Exotic Sword: Dropped by the Shrowd Behemoth
  • The Molten Edict Exotic Hammer: Dropped by the Firebrand Charrogg Behemoth
  • The Godhand Exotic War Pike: Dropped by the Rezakiri Behemoth

Once you have the blueprint it’s just a matter of grinding out the materials needed for them. Now that you know how to get exotic weapons in Dauntless you should have a look at out Dauntless Hub for all sorts of other tips. Make sure to follow Prima Games on Twitter too.
