If you’ve only just begun your adventure in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, you may be surprised to know that you can change Lara’s outfit and appearance to suit your preferences and blend in with the locals. Not only are there tons of outfits available for Lara to wear, but many of these clothing items also offer additional gameplay benefits to help Lara survive her journey through the jungle. Below you’ll find charts explaining how to get all outfits for Lara in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, along with the bonus effects of each clothing item where applicable.

How to Get All Outfits in Shadow of the Tomb Raider

When you unlock a new outfit in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the outfit will become available in the Outfit section of the Inventory menu at any Base Camp. While some outfits can be equipped instantly, certain outfits, such as Vestiges, must be crafted and restored first before they can be worn. Main Story / Default Outfits

Some outfits are available to Lara by default or through story progression. Outfits acquired through the main story missions do not need to be crafted or restored.

Robes of Puka Huk (Full Body) Included in the Deluxe, Croft, and Ultimate Editions. Health regenerates faster during breaks in combat. Receive additional hides and fat from animals.
Explorer Included in the Croft and Ultimate Editions. Receive additional plant and mineral crafting resources from each source. Receive bonus XP from hunting animals.
Vest of the Empress Jaguar (Torso) Defeat the empress jaguar. Enemies take longer to detect Lara.
Boots of the Empress Jaguar (Legs) Defeat the empress jaguar. Reduces noise when running, making Lara harder to detect.
Blue Heron Tunic (Full Body) Enter Paititi for the first time. Allows interaction with rebels.
Serpent Guard (Full Body) Return to Paititi after Cenotes. Allows interaction with cultists.

Side Mission & Crypt Reward Outfits

Many of Lara’s outfits in Shadow of the Tomb Raider are Vestige outfits that must be crafted at a Base Camp before they can be equipped. These outfits can be bought from various merchants or are rewarded for completing Crypts.

There are also various outfits available for Tomb Raider fans who want to change into one of Lara Croft’s iconic former looks. These outfits don’t offer any additional benefits (other than a bit of nostalgia) and do not need to be crafted.
