How to Find Dragonite Ore

There are a lot of different ways to acquire items in Monster Hunter: World. While you can acquire some items like Sharp Claw from killing particular monsters, other items like Carbalite Ore will require you to interact with different nodes scattered around the different areas that you can visit on your adventure. Dragonite Ore is one of these materials and finding it can prove quite easy if you know where to look.

You can find Dragonite Ore in two different regions in Monster Hunter: World. The two places that you can find this item are the Coral Highlands and Rotten Vale. There’s a couple of good farming spots for this rare material in both of these regions, so you’ll want to choose the one that works best for you—depending on how you have made it into the game.

If you want to easily farm for Dragonite Ore in the Coral Highlands, then you’ll want to head over to Area 11, along the western border. Here you can head northwest of the camp where you should be able to see three different nodes nearby. Mine all three of the nodes and then head out of the area and fast travel back in. This will cause the nodes to respawn, giving you easy access to farm them without much trouble.

To find Dragonite Ore in Rotten Vale, look for a set of four mining nodes that are set up near each other in both Area 12 and Area 15. You’ll find the nodes along the southern bit of Area 15, where the path forks. Look for the mining nodes on the western edge of Area 12 to find these easy to mine nodes.

Of course, you can always wait on the nodes to respawn, and hunt down some monsters in your free time. Or if you’d like to keep things as efficient as possible, just fast travel out of the area and then back in. This will instantly respawn the mining nodes, giving you an easy way to farm them.
