How to Declare War in New World

If a faction no longer controls a specific territory on the server they can declare war and try to claim or reclaim that piece of land, however you can’t just do it all willy nilly.

In order to declare war in New World, your faction will need to complete PvP faction missions in the area it is trying to claim. After enough missions have been completed then a faction can enable a Declaration of War.

You can also kill other players of the controlling faction in the area to stop them from being able to retain the territory. As long as you’re flagged for PvP you can help take out enemy faction players and stop them from holding on to the territory.

Once war has been declared, factions will choose 50 of its best players that signed up to fight for the cause. The attacking faction will try and capture a point in the heart of the fortress while the defender’s objective is to fend off the attackers for 30 minutes.

It’s not for the faint of heart and will require a lot of communication from the factions to successfully win the war.
