Hogwarts Legacy Potions Guide: Ingredients and Effects

Whats a Witch without brew?

Well-rounded Wizards and Witches need to learn about everything the schools have to offer in Hogwarts Legacy, including brewing potions. While they may not be nearly as flashy as many of the spells in the game, they can save you in a pinch when all else seems lost.

You’ll start the game with some simple health potions known as Wiggenweld Potions later on. Right away, we learn the importance of them, and we can even brew most of them ourselves if we have the ingredients. Your classes will eventually bring you to the point of potion brewing, but you’ll need to get many of these ingredients on your own. You can always spend Galleons to buy potions in Hogsmeade. However, brewing will save you time and money in Hogwarts Legacy. I even found potion brewing potions in the Room of Requirement to be a good way to break up missions and prepare for the road ahead.
