Helldivers 2 Cutting Edge Warbond Release Date and Details

It's electric.

The team over at Arrowhead Games has ironed out the server issues and (most of) the crashes that were plaguing Helldivers 2 for the last few weeks since launch, and now we’re back on track for new content. The first scheduled content drop is coming soon, and with it, we’re getting armor, weapons, and more.

Helldivers 2 Cutting Edge Release Date and Contents

The new Premium Warbond, unlocked using Super Credits, will be released on March 14. There’s no word on how many Super Credits it will cost, as the developers have stated the amount will vary depending on how many rewards it contains. The Warbond will, as always, require in-game Medals to progress and contains the following new items:

New Primary Weapons

  • Arc-12 Blitzer Shotgun
  • Las-16 Sickle Energy Rifle
  • SG-8P Punisher Plasma Shotgun

New Secondary Weapon

  • LAS-7 Dagger Laser Pistol

Three New Armor Sets

The new pass looks promising, but here’s hoping these new Primary weapons will prove viable in the ever-changing landscape of meta weapons in the game. If the Arc Thrower is anything to go by, then the new arc shotgun should carry its weight by bypassing enemy armor. The plasma shotgun also looks interesting, functioning more like a mortar than buckshot.

More importantly, we’re getting some much-needed fashion. These sets are going to let me live out my Fremen fantasies while presumably reducing electric damage taken, so I don’t fry myself to death with my new toys. There are also three new capes coming in the pass, and they are finally beige-colored.
