How to Get Keepsakes

Keepsakes are obtained by gifting Ambrosia to various Gods and characters that you encounter while playing Hades. To get Ambrosia, you’ll need to defeat all the enemies behind doors that have a golden vial symbol on them.

Once you have acquired a bit of Ambrosia, you can then start offering it to whichever character or God you wish in order to obtain their Keepsake. Before you can begin giving gifts to other characters, you’ll want to visit with Nyx or Hypnos while in the House of Hades first.

It’s worth noting that once you have earned a new Keepsake from a God in Tartarus, you will have to die and return to the House of Hades or reach the next level in the Underworld in order to equip it. Only one Keepsake can be equipped at a time, so be sure to make the most of each death by swapping between various Keepsakes as needed. You can browse and equip available Keepsakes in the House of Hades by visiting the case of Keepsakes near the weaponry.

Each of the 16 Keepsakes can be earned by gifting Ambrosia to a specific God. Some Gods, like Aphrodite, Athena, Zeus, and several others, will require you to interact with their Boons before you can grant them Ambrosia and obtain their Keepsakes. To get Keepsakes from Sisyphus or Charon, you’ll need to visit their shops in the Underworld.
