God of War Ragnarok All 4 Different Graphic Modes

In the PlayStation 5 version of God of War Ragnarok, there are as many as four different graphic modes, but which one you will be able to use depends on whether you have recently upgraded your TV or monitor.

If you are still on a regular 4K TV or monitor, you will have two options:

  • 4K graphics mode with stable 30fps.
  • 60fps mode in lower resolution.

But if you have a more modern TV or monitor that supports the HDMI 2.1 standard and 120hz, two more modes will be available to you:

  • 4K graphics mode at a much smoother 40fps (mode seen in many other first-party Sony games recently).
  • Another mode with dynamic resolution and unlocked framerate that will be able to go up to 120fps.

For now, it is not known which graphics modes will be present on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles. But when it comes to the PlayStation 5, in whatever graphics mode you decide to play the new God of War Ragnarok, one thing is for sure – the game looks better, the performance is smoother, fights are even more intense than before and we can hardly wait to get out hands on the final version.

God of War Ragnarok is launching on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 9, 2022.
