During the Unfinished Comedy quests in the Fortress of Meropide area, you start unlocking tons of other quests in the area. The Scenes from Life in Meropide series are needed to complete the Game of the Rich step in this lengthy Genshin Impact questline. Here are all of the options you have available for you, as well as a quick guide.
Genshin Impact: Scenes from Life in Meropide Quest Listed
There’s a total of nine Scenes from Life quests available. You only get to do seven of them in the Unfinished Comedy line, with the other two being merely extra additions to give you more Coupons. The quests are:

- Scenes from Life in Meropide: Dead End
- Scenes from Life in Meropide: Fists of Fury
- Scenes from Life in Meropide: A Raw Deal
- Scenes from Life in Meropide: Treat the Symptoms
- Scenes from Life in Meropide: Chit-Chat
- Scenes from Life in Meropide: Unfinished Task
- Scenes from Life in Meropide: Every Debt has a Creditor
- Scenes from Life in Meropide: The Art of Negotiation
Scenes from Life in Meropide: Safe Operation
The first quest you’ll complete during the Game of the Rich step of Unfinished Comedy. You get it automatically from Caterpillar and it’s located next to the Waypoint on the first floor of the Fortress. Your objective will be to reach a hidden room locked by a gear puzzle. Adjust their hands to opposite sides to unlock the doors just as in the images above to quickly complete them.
Scenes from Life in Meropide: Dead End
This is the only quest you can accept during the first day of collecting Coupons in Game of the Rich. After speaking with Galvaryet and entering the Rift of Erosion, follow your way to the objective and speak with Clynes upstairs.
Now go back down and grab the energy bar to place it next to the energy panels. This allows you to activate it and complete the quest.
Scenes from Life in Meropide: Fists of Fury
On the second day of collecting Coupons in Game of the Rich, look for Nizami and accept his challenge to battle in a secluded arena. Bring this big guy down to get your rewards. Easy and simple as that.
Scenes from Life in Meropide: A Raw Deal
Speak with Decembre in the Dormitory Block after the second day in Game of the Rich to accept his quest. This is another pretty straightforward quest where you mostly need to wait in line for Decembre to come back to complete this one.
Scenes from Life in Meropide: Treat the Symptoms
Also available on the second day of Game of the Rich in the Production zone. Speak with Lechlade to get the quest and later bring him some “medicine” from his doctor. Another quite simple quest to complete.
Scenes from Life in Meropide: Chit-Chat
Found as soon as you begin the third day in Game of the Rich. After getting the quest from Nakul, head to the door and start negotiating with the person behind it. Choose to “play him” as soon as you get the chance to get some business done, and complete the quest by consequence.
Scenes from Life in Meropide: Unfinished Task
During the third day of the Game of the Rich, head to the Production Zone: Upper Level and Disable the device next to a girl with a Kamera. This will trigger this quest with the girl (Nelly) where your objective is to turn it back again to attract the guard’s attention. Nelly will take her picture, and you will get your rewards.
The two following quests only appear in a full Daily Reset after completing the full Unfinished Comedy line. This doesn’t necessarily mean completing all of the previous quests, but it’s recommended due to rewards.
Scenes from Life in Meropide: Every Debt Has a Creditor
Take the Administrative Area teleport in the Fortress of Meropide and drop down to accept this quest. Interact with the panel and analyze the graffiti, then look for Clynes to make him confess he was the one who made it (grab the same Waypoint again to reach him quicker). It doesn’t matter if his crimes are exposed or not, you’ll get the same rewards.
Scenes from Life in Meropide: The Art of Negotiation
Head to the Rag and Bone shop in the Fortress and buy the Art of Negotiation book for 20 Coupons. The quest will automatically trigger and take you to complete a survey located where you first visited the Fortress.
Complete the survey to finish the quest and get the Non-Zero Sum Game Achievement. Many of the new achievements introduced in this patch require completing similar quests around the game, so take a look at them.
