Kill this guy because he was hungry

Now that we’ve unlocked an entirely new part of the world, there’s naturally quite a few marks haunting the paths. Such is the cause for Gobermouch, a rogue goblin that’s been creeping around an abandoned village in Eistla. Here’s how to find Gobermouch in Final Fantasy 16, and all the rewards you’ll get for killing it.

Final Fantasy 16: Gobermouch Hunt Location and Rewards (FF16)

It’s a little sad to kill something just because it’s hungry, but that’s what the game wants us to do. Even though there’s plenty of in-game lore that suggests the Goblins have their own language, social structure, and economy. Essentially suggesting that we’re killing an entire species because they look and speak differently to us. Anyway! Here’s how to find Gobermouch:

  • Select Central Waloed on the world map (Eistla).
  • Head west, to the abandoned village space beneath The Maudlin Mason.

Once you’ve loaded into Eistla, you’ll find that there are quite a few abandoned buildings to explore. Head forward, up the stairs.

Once you reach the top of the stairs, turn left. Get too close to the house to the left, and Gobermouch will pop out. He’s a Rank-A Goblin, Level 38

Gobermouch doesn’t have much in the way of attacks, but it does have Little Swing. When it uses this special move, it will spin around like a top, moving quickly across the battlefield. But that makes it very easy to parry if you get close enough to it.
