FFXIV: How to Get Moonshine Brine

Moonshine Brine is obtained in FXIV by trading in four copies of Abyssos Mythos III. These books are obtained from completing Abyssos The Seventh Circle (Savage). You can also obtain Moonshine Brine as a separate item in the raid itself. You can roll on it independently of the Abyssos Mythos III.

You can purchase the Moonshine Brine from Djole in Radz-at-Han (X: 10.3, Y: 9.6).

Once you have collected four of them, you can trade them for one tincture of Moonshine Brine, which can then be traded to upgrade your Lunar Envoy gear.

Then head back towards the main Aetheryte and speak to Khaldeen (X: 10.8, Y: 10.4) at the Gear Exchange to trade your weapon and the Moonshine Brine for an augmented and more powerful version.

With patch 6.3 now available, there is plenty of other more powerful gear you can go after, such as the new Myths of the Realm gear and the new Extreme Trial weapon. Moonshine Brine is still important for helping get your item level as high as possible, so don’t skip out on trying the savage raid series this time around.
