Amazon Games’ new MMO New World has a lot of systems, many of which are even new for MMO veterans. However, some things never change, and where here to teach you how to craft in New World.
Everything You Need to Know About Crafting In New World
In order to craft in New World, you’ll need a bevy of different stations depending on what you’re looking to craft.
Everything you would need to craft anything in New World can be found in the Settlements scattered across the realm. Just walk up to any of them and hit E in order to interact. Here all of the different stations you’ll find.
Looms
Loom will allow you to craft things like Linen which will then allow you to craft certain armor types and other stuff.
Woodshop
The Woodshop will allow you to craft lumber and other resources you’ll use for certain weapons, furniture, and other valuable items.
Tannery
The Tannery is used for crafting leather for certain armors, of course with all of the different stations, you’ll unlock more recipes as you level up and complete quests.
Smelter
The smelter is used to smelt down the ore you’ve gathered from mining in order to create ingots, which will be used to craft metal armor and weapons. Different levels of ingots will be needed to make better stuff.
Forge
The Forge is where you will take the ingots you’ve smelted and actually turn them into usable items like weapons and armor.
You’ll need to use all of these different crafting stations in New World if you want to be the best you can be. It’ll take a lot of time to build upgrades the Settlement’s stations to higher tiers, which will allow for better gear.
When in the crafting menu on the right-hand side you’ll see the craft button, and above that, you’ll find the ability to craft multiple items at once if you have the given resources. This is huge if you’re crafting in bulk and will save you a lot of time in the long run.
