In the advanced Vocation category, you will find your usual advancements from Fighter to Warrior and Mage to Sorcerer. You can also run as a hybrid magic/melee and magic/ranged class with Mystic Spearhand, and Magick Archer respectively. These two hybrid Vocations are only available to the Arisen and so your Pawn will not be able to take advantage of these.
Other classes include the Trickster, which seems to be an advancement to the Thief class of sorts, as it focuses on illusions and similar tactics. As well as the most intriguing introduction, the Warfarer class. The Warfarer class allows the user to use any weapon of their choosing, which means that they can swap between classes on the fly. This could provide advantages depending on the situation the Arisen finds themselves in. Again, these two Vocations are only available to the Arisen, and you will not encounter Pawns in the Rift with them.
Dragon’s Dogma 2’s Vocations are varied. With combat being a focus of the game, players have plenty to choose from and are sure to find a Vocation, or even multiple, that fits their playstyle and needs.
