Don’t Miss These New Holiday Dragonriding Mount Armors Coming to WoW

How to decorate your dragon

The next two months are awash with World of Warcraft Holidays, and with them come all-new Dragonriding mount armors to celebrate the festivities. These exclusive mount armors can only be earned during the events – we just aren’t quite sure how (yet). But if you’re keen on earning them, mark you calendars and check them out below.

All Dragonriding Mount Holiday Armors Coming to WoW

There are four holiday mount armors coming soon – check out the dates below:

  • Pirate Day Armor (Highland Drake) – September 19 ONLY
  • Brewfest Armor (Renewed Protodrake) – September 20 – October 6
  • Hallow’s End Armor (Windborne Velocidrake) – October 18 – November 1
  • Day of the Dead Armor (Cliffside Wylderdrake) – November 1 – November 3

These armors correspond to specific mounts, so don’t go in expecting to use whichever you like on your dragon of choice. A bit of a bummer, but it does allow them to “fit” the models a little more cleanly, and I think each of them has a lot of personality.

These are all the upcoming holidays with associated mount armors, with photos of each shown above. Keep in mind, these are the only chances you’re likely to get to unlock each of these for the rest of the year, so if any (or all) catch your eye, mark your calendar now.

Along with these armors, Brewfest and Hallow’s End are getting a “refresh,” whatever that happens to mean. Presumably, we’ll get new event rewards, activities, and a revamped reward path for each. After doing both pretty much the same way for over ten years it’s about time these holidays got some love.

After such a strong community response, Dragonriding isn’t going anywhere, so it’s always a good idea to give your mounts a little extra flair. If you’re new to dragonriding mounts, check out our guide on how to customize your dragon!
