Rise out of your coffins, fellow vampires. V Rising draws closer with every passing day and you need to be prepared for the adventure that awaits. Want to know if V Rising has co-op or multiplayer? Continue reading for the answer.
Can You Play Co-op or Multiplayer in V Rising?
Yes, there is co-op and multiplayer in V Rising. The game functions sort of like Palworld, where you can create private servers for both yourself and friends—or join a dedicated public server where you can meet other real players. The major difference between the two options is that in a private server, only the people within the game have power over the outcome of the world. However, in dedicated public servers, there can be anywhere from ten to forty players roaming the realm and everyone has the power to fight, grief, or disturb other players.
V Rising officially launches on May 8, 2024, for PC via Steam after departing from early access. The game’s spent two years in development and it’s finally polished enough for mass distribution. With its full release, players will get to experience new content, not originally seen in the early access version. This content includes the Ruins of Mortium, Dracula, and more. But that’s something you can read in one of our handy-dandy guides. What players should be excited about and what you’re probably here for is V Rising’s co-op and multiplayer gameplay.
Depending on whether you’d like a more social environment, joining a dedicated public server will allow you to enjoy the game with other players but it’ll be a lot tougher—whereas private servers will offer almost the same amount of content, but you can just play with friends without distractions. These decisions totally depend on your preferences, so there’s no right answer.
And that pretty much answers that question. For more guides, news articles, and lists about V Rising, check out Prima Games.
