Does Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Have Crossplay Support?

No, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will not have crossplay support at launch.

While Nacon and KT Racing haven’t officially disclosed this information, GameRoit, who was provided exclusive access to the title at the developer’s studio, confirmed in their preview that crossplay is not coming at launch.

Additionally, during the recent demo survey, KT Racing asked players what features they’d like to see in the game, and crossplay is listed in that, leading us to believe that it’s not going to be available at launch.

We hope that this means that crossplay support is under serious consideration and eventually added. It’s also possible that the developers add the feature even at launch, but for now, we would keep expectations low.

The game is coming to PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series S|X on September 12, 2024.

If you’re looking to pre-order one of its many editions, make sure to read up on the pre-order bonuses as well.

It’s a bit disappointing that the return of such a celebrated series will not have crossplay support, especially with the deep emphasis on the multiplayer aspect. Modern racing titles like Forza Horizon 5, and The Crew Motorfest, which have large open worlds feature full crossplay support, and had it at launch.
