When the dust settles and all is said and done, PUBG will most likely be the most popular battle royale game of all time. Sure, it’s had its technical flaws, various issues with cheaters, hitboxes, netcode, etc… But it has never stopped hundreds of thousands (or even millions!) of people from having fun. The question of the day is regarding PUBG and its crossplay feature. Many are wondering whether they can play together between a PC and a console, and Prima Games will explain what’s up with this feature within PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Can you play PUBG Between PC and Xbox?
Sadly, it’s not possible to play PUBG between PC and Xbox. However, it’s possible to play between Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S. So technically, some weak form of crossplay within different Xbox consoles exists.

Can You Play PUBG between PC and PlayStation?
Unfortunately, you cannot play PUBG between PC and PlayStation. But, you can play between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, which means that crossplay exists in some small form between different PlayStation consoles.

Can You Play PUBG between Xbox and PlayStation?
Surprisingly, no, you cannot play PUBG between Xbox consoles (One, Series X, and Series S) and PlayStation consoles (4 and 5). While the first two answers to the first two questions seem reasonable to some extent, we really do not understand why it is not possible to play PUBG between Xbox and PlayStation. Both platforms use controllers, and both consoles (assuming they are the same generation) have similar performance. Probably some dumb technicality that PUBG devs cannot work out.

Given that a lot of time has passed since the release of PUBG on all platforms, we have little faith that things will change on this matter. However, should news break out about the change regarding PUBG’s cross-platform, we’ll make sure to update the article.
