Does Mortal Kombat 11 Have Friendships?

Many players are wondering if Mortal Kombat 11 does indeed have Friendships following the Aftermath DLC trailer reveal.

Mortal Kombat 11 is no doubt one of the most violent games players can enjoy with its brutally awesome fights and finishers known as Fatalities. However, NeatherRealm Studios will be bringing some lighthearted features to the fighting game when the Aftermath DLC update drops later in May in the form of Friendships. Does Mortal Kombat 11 Have Friendships?

No, the game does not currently have these kinds of finishing moves available for players to use to end their battles in much more friendly ways that the brutal fashion of Fatalities. However, all Mortal Kombat 11 players will get the Friendships mechanic added to their games for free when the Aftermath DLC update launches for the latest entry in the legendary fighting game franchise on May 26th. Luckily, players who would like to bring some niceness to their fights will be able to do so without having to purchase the Aftermath DLC if they are not interested in the content that it provides, which includes the characters of RoboCop and Fujin. 

 

A total of four of these kinds of finishing moves have been confirmed for the fighting game. The characters who have had Friendships confirmed for them are Scorpion, Noob Saibot, Kano, and Sub-Zero. Each of the characters for the title will have this kind of finishing move added to their arsenals, so do not worry that your favorite characters have not had theirs revealed yet. We will update this piece with any new Friendships for when they are officially announced for the fighting game.
