The Division 2 players have a lot of weapons at their disposal, but for those that want the best of the best – they’re going to need to do a little bit extra. The Sweet Dreams Exotic Shotgun is one of those firearms that is an incredible addition to any inventory, though fans of the looter shooter will need to put in some grind time in order to obtain it.

In order to begin the grind for the Sweet Dreams Exotic Shotgun, The Division 2 players must take on the Outcast bosses. It’s definitely a challenge, so you’re going to want to make sure you’ve got your best gear equipped before beginning.

One thing that is important to note about Sweet Dreams is that the grind game is real due to the fact that the drop rate is left entirely up to chance. The RNG decides whether or not this particular weapon becomes available, so the surefire way to get it will take time and a focus on the Outcast bosses.

That’s not to say there aren’t a few options players have in order to increase their chances of a drop. For starters, completing the Outcast-based missions is key. This is the best way to ensure that the enemies faced are indeed the Outcast bosses needed for Sweet Dreams.

Another way to increase the loot drop chances is to crank up that difficulty setting. The higher the difficulty, the greater the reward chance, which is perfect for those wanting to nab the more illusive weaponry that hte game has to offer.

As for what the Sweet Dreams Exotic Shotgun has to offer in exchange for the grind, there’s a 35% armor buff and Sandman debuff when having this shotgun equipped upon a melee attack. Having this weapon will also stop enemies from being able to use armor kits, as well as prevents them from taking on any sort of external healing.

Dodging will reload 1% as well for the player’s current magazine for the equipped magazine, which also helps for taking on a more evasive and dexterous approach.
