To begin the quest, you’ll have to raise the Fairy Godmother’s friendship level to seven. She’ll ask if you can prepare some peppermint tea for Minnie, to which you’ll accept the offer and help out.

Preparing Peppermint Tea for Minnie

To make peppermint tea, you’ll have to toss one lemon and mint leaf into a cooking pot. You can get lemons from the Forest of Valor or the Glade of Trust, while mint plants grow in Frosted Heights. Travel to these locations and gather the crops before using them, alongside a piece of coal, at a stove or the Chez Remy kitchen!

Taking Pictures in Minnie’s House

You’ll notice mostly normal objects as you search around Minnie’s house. Things like Minnie’s bed, pink furniture, and miscellaneous decor don’t look too out of the ordinary, but you will see one peculiar furniture item: the arcade machine! Take a picture of the arcade machine before returning to the Fairy Godmother again.

After chatting with the Fairy Godmother, you’ll explain the situation with the Phonograph. You’ll show her the picture, leading to her amazement over your camera. She’ll suggest you upgrade your camera, but this requires gathering some diamonds, crystals, and glass. You’ll also have to ask WALL-E for a lens before finalizing everything with Dream Shards. Time to get to work!

Gather Materials to Upgrade Your Camera

To upgrade your camera, you’ll have to gather the following materials:

  • Diamond x3
  • Glass x3
  • Dream Shard x5
  • Crystal x5
  • Lens from WALL-E

The locations of each item vary, with diamonds and crystals found exclusively in the Forgotten Lands. You can craft glass using sand and coal, which you can find in abundance in areas like Dazzle Beach. Similarly, you can find Dream Shards anywhere by clearing night thorns.

Taking Pictures of Broken and Transformed Objects

Remember the arcade machine from earlier? Between the hours of 4 PM to midnight, you’ll have to return here and retake the picture! If it’s already this time for you, you can go there right now and do this. Otherwise, you may have to wait a few hours before progressing.

Once you take the picture, you’ll have four more to take! You’ll have to find the following objects throughout Dreamlight Valley:

  • Goofy’s new yellow bicycle
  • Remy’s new Espresso Machine
  • Olaf’s parasol
  • Mother Gothel’s mirror

However, since we’re looking for transformed objects, you won’t find any of these in their regular forms. Instead, you’ll spot their transformed versions in the following locations:

  • Goofy’s yellow bear chair – Outside, next to Goofy’s house
  • Remy’s spool of wire – Chez Remy kitchen on a wooden table
  • Olaf’s orange and yellow stones – Dazzle Beach
  • Mother Gothel’s couch – Inside Mother Gothel’s tree in the Glade of Trust
