With the early access launch of Diablo 4 on June 1 and the full release four days later, many of us are itching to jump right into the action and begin fighting against the demons that roam through Sanctuary. However, with plenty of fun comes the occasional bugs and balance changes, which today’s update aims to fix. Diablo 4 June 2 Hotfix – Full Patch Notes Listed

While this day one hotfix is on the smaller side due to all the changes during the previous Open Beta, there are still some noteworthy differences. More specifically, this hotfix focused on some class changes, particularly for rogue and sorcerer. If you plan to try these characters, you may notice some of these differences when you hop in game again!

With that said, let’s dive right into the Diablo 4 update released today, June 2, 2023.

Sorcerer Class Specialization

Flame Shield Enchantment

  • When Flame Shield is initially equipped into an Enchantment slot, it’s placed on full cooldown.

Rogue Class Specialization

Inner Sight

  • After Inner Sight’s unlimited Energy expires, there will be a 4 second delay before another enemy becomes marked.

Items

Shout Skill Cooldown Reductions

  • This affix will no longer appear on items.

Miscellaneous

  • Monster health values have been increased in later World Tiers.
