Ursaluna’s Friend Location in Detective Pikachu 2
Though you’ll likely want to rush to find Ursaluna’s missing friend as soon as possible, you must progress the story until you enter the Southern Ruins temple, solve the Passimian statue puzzle, and meet Galarian Darmanitan.
Once you’ve done so, Galarian Darmanitan will eventually ask you to help find his friends, including a Galarian Mr. Mime and a Bergmite. They’re found in the room with the Crustle outside on the right-hand side of the temple on floor B1. The entrance to the room is blocked off with ice, so you need to ride Galarian Darmanitan with Pikachu and shatter the ice to enter.
Go inside the room, where you’ll find Galarian Mr. Mime, and Bergmite. Look behind the Galarian Mr. Mime, and you’ll spot the Ursaluna’s friend encased in ice. Approach it, then press R to punch the ice and shatter it, freeing the Pokemon.
After thanking you, the Ursaluna will return to its friend outside the Southern Ruins. Go back to the Ursaluna and speak to it to finish the Local Concern.
Do You Get Any Rewards for Finding Ursaluna’s Friend in Detective Pikachu Returns?
Unfortunately, no, you don’t get anything for finding Ursaluna’s trapped friend, which seems to be the case for every Local Concern in Detective Pikachu Returns. So it’s up to you whether it’s worth completing or not.
If you want more Local Concerns to tackle in the Southern Ruins, there’s a Leavanny that needs help finding its Swadloon children and a Cleffa that’s stuck hunting down its friends in a game of hide-and-seek.
