If you find yourself struggling to get all of the Knight kills that you need for various quests, bounties, or Exotic Weapon Quests, then look no further. This article will walk you through the three best places to farm for Knight kills and complete all of your quests in Destiny’s latest update, the Age of Triumph.
Players should also keep in mind that many Exotic Weapon Bounties and quests do not count yellow-bar or named Knights towards their progression. Because of this, we’ll focus solely on where to find normal Knight enemies.
One of the most likely reasons that you need to farm Knights is to get the Necrochasm, an Exotic Auto Rifle with a very high rate of fire. Knights aren’t the only enemy type that players may need to farm, though, and you can check out our guide on the best places to find Wizards for additional help.
Patrol the Dreadnaught
One of the best places to find any Hive enemy is the Dreadnaught, Oryx’s floating fortress. This area was first introduced in The Taken King, and players can skirt the areas surrounding the Court of Oryx for Knight spawns, as they spawn in the antechambers there quite often. This is one of the best ways to farm Knights, because they have a constant spawn rate, and are not hard to find along the Dreadnaught.
Siege of the Warmind
Another great spot to farm for Knights is the mission, Siege of the Warmind, which takes place on Earth. Start the mission and continue through it until Eris says “We can’t let them reach Rasputin.” At this point, keep an eye out for two Knights and a slew of Thralls entering the area. Thankfully this area is a Darkness Zone, so you can easily kill the Knights and then jump off the edge to reset the area. Continue doing this until you reach the number of kills you need, and then leave the mission. It’s not the most enjoyable way to farm for Knights, but it is the quickest.
Fist of Crota
While this isn’t one of the best ways to farm for Knights in Destiny, it still offers some good options for those who don’t mind the long loading times that permeate the game. Head to Earth and begin the mission, Fist of Crota. Once the mission starts, rush forward and take out the two Knights that spawn close to the first building. Once they are dead, head back to Orbit and then restart the mission. Rinse and repeat this process until you have all the kills that you need.
Farming in Destiny isn’t the most enjoyable way to play the game, but these three spots should help you kill more Knights.
