Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes Armor Upgrades 2020 Edition

Celebrate the end of summer by grinding your guts out!

It’s that time again! Bungie has launched the 200 edition of Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes event, which provides prizes for your time in the form of special armor sets. These are always some of the more visually active armor sets in the game, and the event revolves around earning and then upgrading all the fancy armor. And upgrading the armor is quite the ordeal, with a list of requirements you need to fulfill for each piece. How to Upgrade 2020 Solstice of Heroes Armor in Destiny 2

There’s a Solstice of Heroes set for each class in Destiny 2, and each set has three upgrade sets. There’s the Renewed (Rare) tier, then the Majestic (Legendary) tier, and a final “Magnificent” tier that adds a neat glowing effect to the armor. So, we’ll be breaking down each set organized by class and piece, with the requirements for each tier grouped together.

Hunter 

Helmet:

  • Complete 1 EAZ run
  • 50 precision final blows
  • 100 Fallen kills

Majestic

  • Defeat 2000 enemies with elemental damage
  • Defeat 200 enemies in EAZ
  • Defeat 300 enemies with Arc weapons

  • Complete a Nightfall Ordeal on Master difficulty

If you’re a Destiny 2 player aiming to participate in the 2020 Solstice of Heroes event, and upgrading your chosen armor set, you have your work cut out for you. This is a daunting list of tasks, which explains why there’s so much time set aside for this event. On the bright side, when you step out into the Crucible next month with your full Magnificent glow on, everyone else will know you’re nobody to trifle with.
