Before you can access the Undead Match PvP Arena you first need to defeat the Gravetender Greatwolf and Champion’s Gravetender boss. If you haven’t done that yet, head over to our boss battle guide to find out where you can locate the battle and how to defeat the bosses. Defeating the Gravetender Greatwolf and Champion’s Gravetender earns you the Champion’s Bones item.

Once you have the Champion’s Bones, head back to the Firelink Shrine and access the main bonfire. Select the option to burn the Champion’s Bones, then select the Undead Match option from the same menu. From here you can set a password for your PvP game, select the type of match you’d like to play, determine how many players can join in (up to six) and more. It works in a similar manner to normal Dark Souls 3 PvP.
