Before we go through the actual console commands list, we’ll need to set you up so that you can actually use them first.

After booting up Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on your PC, press the ~ key to drop down the console (if this is not enabled, you need to turn on the developer console in your game options).

In the console, type “map de_dust2” and hit the Enter key. You can also use any map of your liking. After the map boots up, drop the console down again with “~” and type in “sv_cheats 1”, hit enter, and then type in “mp_drop_knife_enable 1”.

Now, press the button (it is usually “G” by default) to drop all of your stuff. Congratulations! You are now ready to test out knives. Be mindful that the commands given below are going to spawn the knife on you, so if you have a knife in your hands already, you need to drop it before you can pick up the next one.

You can have fun with some of the knives animations by pressing “F” (inspect weapon button) and “R” (reload) alternately so do not be afraid to try that out – maybe it will help you make a better choice for your knife purchase.
