We’ve tracked down all of FF7’s discs and listed them here, twice, for your ease of reference.

Collect All the Music Discs in the Final Fantasy VII Remake

You can find discs by speaking with specific NPCs, interacting with jukeboxes, or buying them for a pittance from shops and vending machines scattered throughout the game.

Most of the discs show up in free-roam chapters, with the majority appearing in Chapter 9, but you can find a few elsewhere. None appear before Chapter 3 or after the start of Chapter 16. Once you find your first disc, which is probably going to be Tifa’s Theme, it opens a new tab on your Inventory screen called Music Collection, where you can keep track of all the discs you’ve found so far.

For some reason, the discs in FF7R are specifically numbered, but do not show up in-game in anything resembling that numerical order; for example, the first two you can find are #3 and #27. I blame society.

First, we’ll list them by that order, in case you’re just looking to plug some of the holes in your collection. You can always go back after the end of the game with the Chapter Select feature.
