Jedi Survivor is just weeks away now and the final trailer for the game was shown off at the Star Wars Celebration 2023 event. Plenty of gameplay was displayed to hook fans before the full release, and tiny snippets of areas that look a lot like Coruscant quickly caught the eye of fans.

Visiting new planets with tons of space to explore has been one of the selling points for the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order and the previews have backed that up as well. However, all of the planets with explorable maps have yet to be revealed, and we’ll cover whether you can expect to explore the Republic Capital in Survivor.

Jedi Survivor – Will Coruscant be a Major Planet?

After the footage was shown off at the Star Wars Celebration event, Game Director Stig Asmussen went over some additional details about the upcoming Jedi game. One of those details was Coruscant, which Asmussen confirmed would be an area that players get to visit as Cal Kestis.

Although this area is confirmed as playable in Jedi Survivor, that doesn’t mean the Republic capital is a full-blown planet to be explored. Following comments from Asumussen about the planet, Global Director of Integrated Comms Andy McNamara clarified how the location would be used.

McNamara claimed that Coruscant would be a destination in Jedi Survivor, but it wouldn’t be one of the major explorable planets that were mentioned in the past. This means the iconic planet will likely have a short story section for Cal Kestis to revisit old memories later this month.
